Working in the commercial realm of branding, advertising and visual identity, I’ve had the opportunity to experiment with playful designs, evolve brand systems and reimagine visual directions.

I approach user experience design like I’m co-designing with the person who will ultimately be using the product. I consider the tactility of the interface from the broader experience to minute details that enhance the feeling of interacting with the product. I reference real life elements and interactions like station signs, traffic lights, buttons and navigation to create informed designs that are grounded in the real world.

Alongside commercial work and personal projects, I’ve worked on my own experimental designs and briefs. These have taught me valuable processes and given me insight into causes I feel passionate about. I often reference nature and things I see day to day and reimagine them to be more lively, exciting and beautiful.  

A new area I’m currently exploring and experimenting with is with pattern and florals. I’m heavily influenced by the likes of Liberty and Hermés with their skilful craftsmanship, use of natural leather and delicate patterns and forms.
