The world's travel pass, in your store
RetailBox is the world's travel pass – a place for hobbyists and retail customers alike to explore the world on their devices. Used initially in retail to uplift demo devices, and later with a growing hobbyist following, RetailBox set out to connect people with the best screen savers in the world.
I was brought in to redesign the product and its design system from the ground up, and lead its launch, working directly with engineering, marketing, finance and leadership. RetailBox's functionality grew over time, including with seasonal updates, Original content with RetailBox+, and across localisation and as part of a whole company brand uplift. I saw the product through idea, alpha, betas until App Store release for RetailBox 6.

Letting content shine – With such a rich catalogue of content, I focused on stripping the interface back, to allow more space for content to breathe, and with careful use of materials to create a liveliness when switching contexts.

Crafting the visual story

Celebrating special moments – Seasonal launches and events played a key part in the vibrancy of the RetailBox product, and the wider community, and I designed delightful artwork and iconography for these special events.

Scaled to succeed – Built from the ground up for RetailBox 6, I worked with our development team to deliver a scalable, robust framework that seamlessly transitioned from iPhone to iPad, and larger.
